Actually there are (or there can be) significant differences between a PPD
written for Windows vs. Mac. Usually a Mac PPD will work fine in a Windows
environment but not the other way. Best thing to do is to try it and see.
You'll know right away because when your in the Chooser and you tell it to
use a particular PPD with the selected printer it will give you an error
message if it doesn't like it. They still might be able to print to it but
the printer's specific features won't be available as it will use the
generic or color general PPD file.

Have your tried checking the Adobe web site for a Mac PPD for this printer?
