[WinMac] Dell's or Gateways??

Thanks for all of everyones suggestions regarding Macintoshes /
Windows for multimedia and network administration.

Much as I would rather, I am going to go with a Dell or a Gateway.

The machine is a high end 450 with 128 + mb of memory, 14.4 gb hard
drive, nvidia 8mb graphics card, dvd II and possibly a cd-rom
recordable device.

Does anyone have any horror or better yet positive stories about these
two companies?

-- Actually I think my decision will be quite easy, I am very tempted
to flip a coin and let it make my decision for me :).
