I avoid bitmaps wherever possible on account of resolution problems when
printing and to keep file size down. Windows metafile format (.WMF) seem to
work pretty well for logos (even on Office apps on the Mac). I seem to
manage to avoid font problems by converting text to curves before exporting
the image to .WMF. Don't see why this shouldn't work on Mac->Windows as well
as the other way.
