I am having trouble when I send a Mac Word 98 file to a Win Word 97 person.
I created some templates that have her logo in theme. I see and print fine,
but after I email them to her she the logo isn't showing up.

Also on one of the templates the logo is printing and looks fuzzy on the
monitor too. It is the same pic I used on the other templates and they look
find.

When you send files across platform, don't use PICT because PICT is for Mac
only, Windows doesn't support it. PICT can contain both bitmap and vector
info, but Windows can't understand it.

You can use EPS, but there are many variables involved in order to get a good
print out: you must have a postscript printer, and you must include the screen
representation when sending the file over, other wise the image prints well to
a postscript printer, but doesn't display on the screen on Windows. (There is
an explanation in PageMaker's manual.)

When sending files cross platform, the best forms to use are Gif for line
drawing, and Jpeg for continous tone like photographs. I do this on a daily
basis.
