The scenario:

I have a CD-ROM tower on an NT server (4.0 SP3) running Services for
Macintosh. The CD's are collections of PDF files (technical digests).

The problem:

I can connect to the CD's and open the PDF's from NT with no problem. I
can also share the CD's to the Macintosh and open the CD and non-PDF
files with no problem BUT...

When I try to open PDF files on the CD (which is CDFS/ISO 9660) I get a
Macintosh System Error -43 which is a "file or folder not found error".

I can copy the file to my Macintosh and then open it so it is not
damaged PDF files.

Notes:

I have also tried this from the internal CD-ROM with the same problem so
I do not believe it is the CD tower or its drivers.

The only thing that I can think of is that Acrobat Reader (3.01) is
attempting to create some sort of temp file or open some non-existant
file on the CD.

Has anyone ever tried this or have any ideas?
