[WinMac] mac monitor adjustment

This is not a windows<=>macintosh problem, so much as a windows
person supporting a mac.

Can someone suggest what needs to be done to adjust the color
resolution on a powerPC's monitor? The letters are fuzzy; they
have outlines of the three different colors just offset from the
black image, a real eye-sore.
