We have two Postscript laser printers here, an Apple LaserWriter 12/640PS
and a QMS 2060. We turned on AppleTalk on both printers and our Macs can
print directly, bypassing the NT server. The Windows computers still go
through the NT print queue. As an aside, I can also print through the NT
print queue by choosing the appropriate printer name in the Chooser, but
don't do so because my PageMaker files print faster and more reliably
through EtherTalk. The graphics looks better too.
