Maybe I'm missing something here, but I've been reading advice about how
people who want to print from their Macintosh computers to Wintel-networked
printers requires nothing more than just getting that Mac onto the network.
Does DAVE also provide print drivers that allow printing from a Macintosh
application to a non-postscript printer?

If DAVE does not have the driver, and if the printer does not understand
postscript, then it appears printing from the Mac is impossible without
PowerPrint Pro. Am I wrong in this conclusion?

Hence, pdf files are no good either because no printer understands raw pdf.
It has to be put through some driver in order to get HPL, postscript,
Quickdraw, or whatever print language.
