I tried recently to find a Mac app that integrated with or even matched the
functionality of Visio: nothing seemed to come close.

How well documented is the MacFlow file format (or how good are MacFlow's
macro language and export facilities)? If this will be a regular task it may
be worth writing an import routine in Visio's VBA.
