We use Virex (formerly by Datawatch) now by Dr. Solomon's at our company
with great success for the Macs.
We tried using McAfee VirusScan (which we use on our PC's) for the Mac, but
McAfee wasn't updating their Mac version in a timely manner.
You can check out Virex at http://www.drsolomon.com/products/virex/index.cfm

Subject: [WinMac] Re: Macintosh Virus

I need anti virus software to secure approximately. 20 Macs on network
with a shared volume (was Novell is now temporarily NT) acting as a
storage device for most files. They have SAM but I have scanned a
machine, repaired the infected files & re-scanned & found the files
still infected. In some cases the files did not change color in the
listing but in some they appeared repaired! Am I missing something? Is
there a better product Is there a way to automate the scanning/repair of
the files on each machine or from/on the server ? Does anyone have
cross platform / automated anti virus experience?
TIA
Noel
