[WinMac] Uptime [Was: digest size and other administrativia]

        Dear Marc,

        One of the reasons I don't like digests is because it mangles messages.
But in any case, how about a compromise of ~48 kilobytes size?

        Also, if you use a UPS for xerxes, shut off the monitor and hook a 12 volt
car battery up in parallel with the gel-cells to keep it running... Or,
transfer the listServ temporarily to a PowerBook and rig a car battery up
to cig lighter adapter to keep it running.
