        Dear Ephraim,

        Thank you for the warm welcome!

        In case you didn't notice, some of my solutions I have offered up are
based a bit more on the enterprise level than the SOHO level: I've found
that, especially on the PC side that good tools (such as ethernet and
NT/Server) don't cost -- They save much in the way of headaches down the
road. For example, things that are "taboo" on my list include:

        1) NetWare (too freakin' complex!);
        2) Windows `95 and `98 (not powerful enough for internetworking with Macs);
        3) LocalTalk (can't run anything besides the AppleTalk stack on the wires,
 forcing encapsulation of (split-up) 1536 bit IP packets inside 512 bit
AppleTalk packets).

        In short, I try to make the PC's as close as possible to the MacOS model
-- Everything works better that way!
