Bob,

   I ran into the same problem last year in our mac/NT
transition. I had to save the PICT file on the Mac as
GIF or JPEG for it to display on the PC (and the image
was degraded at that). (Indeed, tech support at
Apple did not know the solution; I don't even know if
they understood it when I explained it to them.)

Also, movies would not play. Using Movie Player 2.5 on
the Mac, I saved the movie in a "flat" format and also
checked the box that said "make playable on non-Apple
computers". Then, when I re-inserted the movie in
Power Point on the PC, the movie would play.
