We use the Netscape IMAP client and it works fine. There are a
number of caveats, especially for people constantly moving back
and forth between IMAP and Outlook, but in general it does the job.

beware of using OWA for reading email (it's fine for calendar):
it doesn't handle the dual-fork nature of Mac files correctly
so if you send an email with a Word document and then download
it, the resulting file will have a plain icon that doesn't know
what its creator application is. If you know Word created it,
you can open Word and do a "File/Open" though.
