Actually, the Trumpet stuff works quite well, and is fairly
reasonable, compared to the other TCP/IP for Windows stacks out
there. But it is a bit of a pain to set up. Then again, so is
_any_ TCP/IP stack under Windows 3.1. Yuck. Are you sure you can't
upgrade those boxes to 95?

Now if you have Windows 3.11 (Windows for Workgroups), you can use
something called Wolverine, which was Microsoft's code name for their
TCP/IP stack for WfWG. It works ok, although i completely forget how
to set it up. i think it'll involve things like protocol.ini, NDIS
drivers, and other nasties. But don't worry, there's minimal
documentation at: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/Clients/WFW

Hum. Wow, Windows 3.1. Searching the web for information on that
really takes me back. i mean, a time when all OSes didn't come
_standard_ with TCP/IP stacks. But alas, i digress.

Go get Wolverine, if you can, or Trumpet.
