Subject: Distiller on NT?

Is anyone using a "hot folder" on an NT Workstation or Server to distill
PostScript files created on Macs? That is, using Distiller for NT to
distill the files? I'm assuming that as long as all the fonts are embedded
in the PS files, Distiller will correctly distill the files?

We create a lot of PDFs, and I'm looking to streamline the workflow.
Writing large PS files (50 MB +) to a local volume, and distilling with a
local copy of Distiller has obvious preformance advantages vs. moving
anything like this over the network. But Distiller's background operation
hits performance just enough to be bothersome, especially if you're queing
up multiple PS files.

Since we are already using an NT Server to do many other centralized tasks,
this seems like perhaps a good opportunity to wring yet more out of the
beast.

Thanks in advance for any comments,
