        Leonard is right, PDF should not have been omitted from my list
of things Microsoft is should support but doesn't. Going forward, PDF
support is essential to smooth cross platform compatibility problems.

        EPS and TIFF are more widely supported among high end graphics
apps for the next couple years. Hopefully that will change to PDF
quickly, but in the interim Microsoft is not doing any favors to their
customers with poor quality support of current standards.

        Your point is well taken, if they focus on EPS and TIFF at the
expense of PDF they will finally fix current problems just in time for
me to not need EPS or TIFF because PDF had matured. Then we will be in
the same situation where Microsoft seems to prefer support for older
less functional or less cross platform technology they have a better
experience with rather than superior tools created by potential rivals
(EPS, PDF, Java, POP mail, NDS... )
