Yeah, I've always believed that was the case with most applications
in opening documents. However, I've found that with some apps,
saving with a different extension can work.

I know you said you wrote Expander, so you should know; I just
thought it was worth a try, since no one has been able to come up
with a solution for Changhsu's problem.
