My only experience with Win-Mac network printing was that having the NT
server capture the printer never seemed to work. The Macs were never
able to print. Other sites in our district concluded likewise.

Alpha NT is native code. 32-bit wintel applications can be run through
the FX!32 emulator, which has a reputation as a very fast, efficient and
robust optimizer/emulator (and is being built into the 5.0 release for
Alpha).
