Jorge,

What does the NIprint do that Microsoft's doesn't? The reason I ask is
that when we first got our NT server up and running I tried to setup all of
our later model Apple LaserWriters to print via IP. Some of them worked
fine, others I kept getting PostScript errors. Big difference in speed
though. I could watch the print jobs spool out to the LaserWriters that
were still communicating via AppleTalk but the ones communicating with the
server via IP just zipped right out of the print queue in a second. I
thought however that might have also been the cause of the PostScript
errors if the printers couldn't buffer all that data fast enough.

We also have an HP DesignJet 2500 that I really would like to print to via
IP but I was always getting PostScript errors and so had to settle for
AppleTalk. Many of the files are quite large! Sometimes even over 100MB
so IP would be much faster.

Any ideas?
