It's trying to sell you their RAM, but I've often found
(http://www.newerram.com) good for finding the specs on specific machines.
GURU is a downloadable RAM guide.

http://www.cec.ca/ has a web page, but it doesn't give much info. Keith, a
sales guy there, has answered every single RAM question I've thrown at him,
PC, MAC, or otherwise. We buy all our server RAM from them, as well as the
memory in my PowerMac at home. I've asked him where he gets his info... he
didn't tell me... trade secret :)

http://support.info.apple.com/info.apple.com/applespec/applespec.taf will
give you the Apple spec database. Choose PowerMac, and then your specific
G3. It will tell you how much memory comes on the motherboard, the number
and type of memory slots, min and max RAM, min speed, acceptable sizes, and
groups. It also gives video memory, ports, logic board, power supply, and
other specs.

I hope this helps...
