Hi Michael,

This may sound almost trivial but I had a problem here at work with one of
our NT servers that seemed to crawl when I would copy files to and fro. I
asked some of our other sites if they experienced the same problem and the
answer was yes. The solution: turn off the screen saver on the NT box.
It worked! I now just run the blank screen saver and my copy speeds have
returned to normal. This particular NT server is running ver.4 of the OS
along with sp3 and the hot fix with only 32 MB of RAM.

I don't know if this will solve your problem but give it a shot.
