This is incorrect. Macs and PC's, regardless of which version of the OS the
clients run, can share the same directories on the server. This is true
under NT 3.51 and NT 4.0. In the case of NT 3.51, its possible that what
you say is true, but as far as I can remember, even under SP3 it was possible.

This is true of Windows 95 and 3.1 clients, however, *NT clients* _can_ log
into different servers under different user names. If I am not mistaken, I
believe the original poster is supporting NT boxes, not Win 95 or 3.1.
