VirtualPC

I'm trying to use virtual PC on an 8600/250 to download a pc disk of updated map information to a Lowrance Airmap 100. The initial disk that came with the Airmap 100 was unreadable when opened with Virtual PC. When you look at the contents of the disk, several of the files have windows 95 style icons but the titles are unreadable collections of dashes and seemingly random letters. The instructions say to 1) insert the disk and click on the Start button and select Run 2) Type in the letter of the floppy drive followed by "JEPPESEN" and press Enter. When I do this, the machine says that it can't find the file. Customer service at Lowrance said that a bunch of the disks has been inadvertently exposed to a strong magnet and they sent me a second one. Same result. Is Virtual PC unable to access this disk? I have no trouble with other windows disks. Any suggestions, other than to use it with a pc? thanks in advance for any help. Joe Bates jbates@loop.com
