Dancing Icons?

Somebody wrote about how 8.1 and DAVE have the same "Dancing Icon"
problems that 8.1 and NT SFM (Services for Macintosh) have. It wasn't
clear whether the user was using DAVE to talk to an NT server and/or
Windows 95 machines.

Somebody else noted that there's a fix on Microsoft's website. (But
didn't have the link. :)

i suppose it might be possible that a fix for _Services for Macintosh_
would repair a problem with a SMB (Windows File Services) client running
on a Mac. But it's _doubtful_, at best.

And it certainly wouldn't help a Windows 95 machine sharing any files
(peer-to-peer) to that Mac.

Oh well, take a look for yourself. The info on the bug is at:
       http://www.macwindows.com/servtips.html#jumpingicons

(Who knows, maybe on the Microsoft site there's a patch for Win 95
file sharing? _Sounds_ like Apple actually ought to fix this one...)
