Hi

We had a similar problem some time ago transferring RTF files created in
Adobe FrameMaker on a Sun to MS Word 5.1 on a Mac. Maybe your problem is
related, although it seems strange if the files are both created and read
in Microsoft products?

Our problem was caused because the Word 5.1 and FrameMaker seemed to have
opposite RGB encodings, meaning that 255,255,255 is white to one and black
in the other! Hence you can't see the text because it is the same colour as
the page background. To solve this problem in Word 5.1, Select All and
change the colour using the pulldown list in the Format/Character menu item.

Hope this helps.

Andrew Flaus.
