Hello Kim Anderson:
(1) type apple-E to eject floppies from Windows. Windows has no
software eject, so you have to invoke the Mac eject to get the disks
out.
(2) #1 should take care of #2. When you eject disks manually (i.e.,
with a paperclip), the system has no real way of knowing that it is
supposed to be looking for a new disk.

Actually, the Orange install driver should automatically eject (or tell
you to eject) each disk in turn. If it isn't doing this then something
else might be going on. The mistake I made about a billion times when
setting up our Orange lab was that I would always have the wrong disk in
the drive when I moved from the Mac to the Apple side for the first
time. I also seem to remember that there is a keystroke command
required soon after the Windows hardware begins to mount, and that this
keystroke had to be given within a certain number of seconds or the
install would futz out. Don't have my install manual with me at the
moment, but you probably do...
