Biggest advantage for DAVE in my book is that is is user specific...no
changes whatsoever required on the server. All of the stuff you would
want to do you can do. If you want to do server changes and have no
issues, then it may be more of a wash. There are a few extensions, but
you don't need them all unless you want to do file/print sharing, etc.
from the Mac to other machines.
Also note that Allegro (8.5) is supposed to contain some advanced DHCP
and other features which might help Mac OS work in an NT environment. No
details on that, but so I have heard.
