There are two options..you can use a product like DAVE which when a
machine is started you can force a person to enter a login and password
that will then log them into the NT network. They then have access to
share folders etc via the chooser, problem is that you still need to go
to the chooser and browse much the same way you do with the window 95
network neighborhood.
The other is to use Macintosh Sevices for NT BUT you have to consider a
few thigs..first there is a UAM that is neccessary to use Microsoft
encrypting for the password, and when yo log into the server EVERYTIME
you need to choose the proper UAM to use. This is a poor security risk.
However if that is NOT an issue, you can then use FOOLPROOF (A great
security program I might add) that when an security account logs into
foolproof, it automatically mounts a network volume..I use that to
simplify usage AND restrict chooser and control pnale usage.
