The DSL/Cable routers you see at the store? In most cases, they're
Ethernet-Ethernet routers. (That is, most of them, Linksys, SMC, etc. do
not have integrated DSL or Cable Modems.)

So they'll work with your single Ethernet just fine.

If you were researching things like Cisco routers ($1000+), then that's
massive overkill.

Go to Fry's or CompUSA, and pick-up a Linksys or SMC broadband router. It
should work just fine.
