We have some types of machines (Pentiuum MMX 200 MHZ) which crash Windows 98 second edition after varying amount of use (sometimes right away, sometimes after 20 minutes). Sometimes the mouse freezes but the keyboard still takes input, sometimes both keyboard and mouse freeze, but a ctrl-alt-delete will bring up the task manager.

I've checked apple support and haven't found anything particularly relevent. 5.0.3 was the last revision of windows appleworks.
