A few weeks back Anthony Lord asked a question:

Tim Scoff provided an answer:

I have a very similar set-up:
* Home-office LAN featuring Macs (OS 9.x & 10.x) and PC (WinXP)
* Apple LaserWriter Select 360 with Farallon iPrint LocalTalk <-> Ethernet
Adaptor

The two differences are LW Select 360 and WinXP. I tried Tim's suggestion but
the Add Printer wizard in XP does not offer the option of adding an Apple Talk
port so it does not see the LW. If I select "Add a local printer" I get
choices for "Local, LPR, PDF, Standard TCP/IP". If I select "Add a network
printer and I click "Browse for printer", it does not see anything. Is this
just a difference between W2K and WinXP or am I not looking at the right
place?

I went to the Apple and Microsoft sites and I could not find either place a PC
driver for the Select 360. Do I need the driver before XP will see the
printer? Where do I find it?

By the way, before anybody mentions it, I know that the LW Select 360 has
serial and parallel ports but the printer is 2 floors away so running a cable
is my last option. I would rather have a software solution.

TIA
