Hi again,

I am trying to move some files from a computer with Mandrake 8 (Linux)
installed to either a Mac or a Win 98 computer with a printer connected.
Does anyone know how KOffice documents should be associated in the Mac 9.1 &
Win 98 OS's? I have tried to open in Office 2001 and get a prompt as to what
to convert the document from. When transferred to the Mac desktop, it
automatically gets associated as a DOS text file. Canopener can't display
the text properly and neither will BBEdit, nor Nisus Writer.

Also, how should the KOffice versions of Excel & Power Point be
associated??? What about in the Windows environment??
