I've done the same thing using Outlook Express. In my case OE was only an intermediary, since my actual message transfer was taking place between Eudora and Outlook.

Both Outlook and Outlook Express have new versions since I did it, but reviewing the OE settings for the IMAP account which connects to our Exchange server, I believe only two items are essential: the AccountID and the IMAP Server. For the IMAP Server I did not use a fully qualified name since the server is local. My AccountID is the same as I use under Outlook. Basically the settings are the same as those used in Outlook except for Outlook's "Domain" field (is it really used/needed?) does not appear in OE.

Good luck with Entourage. Hopefully it's similar to OE.
