Thanks all. I used the Panda utility on the NT,98,and 95 machines. It
    really worked well.

PANDA has an utility that desinfects not only sircam, but another
    harmful
virus. It was released before Symantec. I had the same problem and
    it
desinfected just right. Try it. IT WORKS.

Symantec has a clean and repair utility available for download free
    from
their site for this. It may or may not work depending on the
    randomness of
the damage the virus does. It worked for us on the single 98 machine
    that
was infected before we got the correct pattern files last week.

            Subject: [WinMac] SirCam virus

We got caught by the SirCam virus yesterday, before we got the right
    .dat
file loaded on some of our NT workstations (and 1 95 box). The
    results were
that no executable will run. Does anybody know of a repair
    procedure, other
than a format and restore that will work on these machines? Mcafee
    will
detect it but is unable to clean it. We deleted the files but the
    machines
are still quite useless at the present time. Any assistance would
    be
            greatly appreciated.
