Next message: Darryl Lee: "Re: [WinMac] Moving NT Printer shares"
This may be SLIGHTLY off-topic. If deemed so, I heartily apologize!
I'm installing a "new" NT 4.0 server used exclusively for the purpose
of serving networked printers to Windows users (and some Mac users)
on our campus. This server will replace our existing, but severely
under-powered NT 4.0 server doing exactly the same thing.
I prefer to start "fresh" with a virgin OS install. I have the new
box already prepped with such.
My question is: is there an easy way to "move" the printer shares
from the old box to the new one? Is there some utility for doing so?
Can I export appropriate Registry Keys? DO I have to create over 100
printer shares "from scratch" on the new box?
I'm going now to look for a link to any docs that might help me. Any
input from this list will be most appreciated!
TIA,
...ROMeyn

compile under RedHat 7... *sigh* :-(
