I'll check to see if the scanner scans at 12 pixel per color. I'm thinking
that it does.

If your press can indeed hold a 175 lpi screen, try lowering it to 150 LPI
(300 pixel per inch scan) .IF. you can scan at 12 pixels per color (36 bit
RGB
scans) instead of the standard 8 bits per pixel color depth: This will give
you
better shadows and highlights.
