    your best bet is to use a Jet Direct box which will put the printer on
    Ethernet. You can print via Jet Direct software or IP from the PC's and
    AppleTalk from the Macs. However the problem is that the version of HP
    LaserJet 5 you have does not have postscript I believe which makes it hard
    for the Macs to print to it. Another thing you buy is the software that
    allows Macs to print to PCL printers.
