    MacFixIt <http://www.macfixit.com/> has been posting a lot of info on this
    (as have most Mac tech sites; you might also look at MacInTouch
    <http://www.macintouch.com/>).

    For the problem booting Classic, try disabling third-party extensions in the
    OS 9 system folder, if you haven't already.
