[WinMac] IE5 Windows won't import bookmarks from IE5 Mac

I have exported a bookmark file from Internet Explorer 5 on the
Macintosh and am trying to import it into Internet Explorer 5 in
Windows.

First it said it wasn't a valid bookmark file, so I deleted a stray
<HTML> from the top of the file.

Now it says "error converting bookmarks". I have tried converting CR
to CR-LF but it doesn't help.

Anyone?
