Time for my first real "fontology" lesson...

Over the years, I've had an occasional font file or suitcase
seemingly become corrupt. Replacing it with a copy from one of
the other seven Macs in my lab would normally fix the problem.
But just recently, I installed Photoshop 5.0 and Illustrator 8.0 on
my 7200/120s (using OS 8.0), and now Adobe programs seem to
be the only ones that will recognize the Times font...on ANY of the
Macs. I read in the Illustrator manual that there is supposedly a
font folder in the Illustrator folder that can cause this, but it doesn't
tell you how to alleviate the problem...at least I haven't found the
    solution.

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Bob
