That happened to me when I got my PM 7200. Somewhere along the line
while shipping it had bee flung to the ground hard enough to crush the
bottom styrofoam in the box.

The DIMM was jarred loose, and the first three times I tried starting it
up all I got was that horrible crashing noise. I'd been bragging in the
office about how easy Macs were to set up too ;-) Took a LOT of razzing
for that. The thing still runs though, and that was years ago.
