We have a number of Airport Base Stations here, and have configured them in
both Ethernet bridges and doing DHCP/NAT. In both situations we have used
PC's in the Mix. One user has the Base Station hooked up to a cable modem
on a HUB, has another PC hooked into the hub, and the rest go wireless, the
PC gets DHCP from the Base Station, as do the wireless clients, it all works
    as advertised.

We also have used Lucent Cards on both older Macs AND Windows. One problem
was with a Compaq Armada where the Lucent drivers did not like the card
services software that was installed, by removing that and letting NT handle
the PCMCIA cards itself, all worked fine.

We have also tested Aironet cards that came with some Dell laptops...they
worked very well also. I have yet to test the Compaq wireless option, but
that should happen soon, and I have not even looked at Farallon. One thing
to look out for is that Lucent has a PCI and ISA adapter to use their cards
in a desktop machine, the PCI version can ONLY be used with PCI99
motherboard (read no ISA), if it even has ONE ISA slot, you need to use the
    ISA card.
