I have DHCP running on NT 4 sp6a and clients (Macs OS 9.0.4 OT 2.6 and =
PCs). The PCs work fine but some of the macs are showing up twice with =
different MAC addresses even though there is only one ethernet card. It's =
happening with the G3 (Blue and Gray) & 8500. There may be others once we =
    change all over to DHCP.

    TIA!

I have a KVM swtichbox from NTI which allows me to use a Macintosh =
mouse and keyboard for a Mac and a PC.

Which would be great except that the user is addicted to this =
Logitech Trackman Marble with programmable keys, and the signal from =
the Trackman is being filtered somehow by the switchbox. So the =
programmable keys don't work, on either the Mac or PC. A regular =
click works fine, and even the right-mouse click on the PC works =
    (Command-click does this).

Has anyone been successful in getting third-party mice to work in =
    this situation?

I know that on startup the Kensington drivers look for the device and if =
    it =
is not there then the drivers don't load. Have you tried booting the =
machines one at a time with the switchbox set to that machine so that the =
drivers get loaded (if this is the same thing)?
