            How would that work with dynamic data sourced from a database
    and displayed using templates? Would you have to have all of the web
    servers accessing a single database or would you have to come up with
    some way of synchronizing the databases running on several different
    computers.

            I agree with Dan on this one. Redundant hardware in a
    mission critical server is necessary so that if anything blows out
    you can replace it without taking down the server. Of course the
    last time I checked it was only high end unix servers by Sun and
    their competitors that had hot swappable processors, but the Intel
    based servers have more hot swappable hardware and redundancy than
    anything shipping from Apple today.
