Sure I would.
*If* it had a stable, secure OS with preemptive multitasking and protected
memory. I don't see anything inherently compromising in the G4; it is after
all, a fast, true-RISC processor (limited PCI slots notwithstanding), which
should make for a great server. It seems to me like it's biggest
limitations (for enterprise server use) are OS-based.
...Though I have to admit that I'm unfamiliar with the Apple Network Server
500 &700 machines. What were the advantages of these?
