            Curtis,

            You nailed it when you said you're using Ethernet <-> SCSI adapters on Mac
    Classics & a PB145... And I'll wager you're using them with System 7.1...

            The problem with these adapters was when System 7.5, SCSI Manager 4.3, and
    *especially* Open Transport rolled around: That's when the driver support
    went into the toilet... And a couple of the vendors (notably Sonic) left the
    plunger in the bowl!
