    Hi guys.

While i personally don't have a problem filtering my mail for spam and
just hitting 'delete' when necessary, i don't see any downside to
obfuscating the addresses on the web archive. This is, in fact, the
default behavior of some new mailing list server software i've been
    trying out: Mailman (www.list.org).

i don't think legitimate users are e-mailing posters that often, so
it shouldn't be too much of an inconvenience.

    So i'm gonna do it.

Sometime over the weekend i'm going to add a filter that changes the @
symbol in the From: header of any incoming messages to [at] so that when
it gets to the web archive, it'll look like:

    > From: Darryl Lee (lee[at]darryl.com)

Mailto's will be disabled as well.

i'll write a little script that crawls through the old archives and
    makes the same change.
