    Does anyone have any advice on web hosting providers?

    They need to be running either Apache, (preferable) or Netscape on some
    brand of Unix. (NO NT)

    we need to be able to write our own CGIs
    We need the options of guarantees about uptimes and connections
    also needed:
        Failover/redundancy
        Web log access
        Regular reliable backups
        database access within 6 months of initial site setup
    preferably in the New England area, but that is *not* a hard requirement
