    define e bootable...bootable from the MAC side, or Bootable in the Windows
    side? If Windows, then Virtual PC must support booting from a CD-ROM which
    most Newer computer do, however I do not think VPC does.

    If from the MAC side then you need to create a virtual volume on your HD (or
    using something like a Jazz disk) and install a universal system folder (or
    just do a regular install if it is for one computer.) Once you have the
    system installed, use it to burn the CD, make sure that before you burn you
    click on the DATA button and optimize for size, AND make bootable. You must
    be using the latest version of Toast, as earlier versions had problems with
    Apple's newer CD/dvd drivers. I use it all the time to burn image CD's for
    our computers using a beige G3 mini-tower running 8.6 and toast.
